Last September I had the chance to visit for the very first time, one of the new Brooklyn Guitar Shows that get held over at The Brooklyn Bowl. Granted I am a former and now sometimes active drummer but I always loved the guitar and seeing how technology is helping push the instrument further. That being the case, when the Spring show came up I headed down there with our own Skeleton Pete and Joe Kaufman to see what was going on. As was the case last Fall, the event would be hosted by Lisa Sharken and DJ Uncle Mike and was at the Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg (but I already told you that) The premise was the same and found guitar company owners, retail shops and specialty craftsman in attendance along with hundreds and hundreds of fans. I felt that the flow of the wandering and the visuals we enjoyed made more sense using that as the medium of presentation. This particular show was quite a bit of fun for the Metal head in me as I found none other than Mark "The Animal" Mendoza (Twisted Sister) and Alex Skolnick (Alex Skolnick Trio & Testament) in attendance so I featured them in the narrative.
